Chad Nicklaus

Chad is a Dixon native who has knowledge and experience in a number of financial realms, including:
- Financial planning
- Individual retirement plans
- Individual income tax planning and preparation
- Business retirement/benefit plans
- Business income tax planning and preparation
- General investment advice
- Trading individual stocks and bonds (Municipal, Government Agency, Corporate)
- Life, disability, and long term care insurance
Prior to joining our firm, Chad was on active duty for 6 years in the United States Navy and served in Operation Enduring Freedom. While in the U.S. Navy, Chad attended the U.S. Navy Advanced Electronics School in Chicago, Illinois and graduated with an Electronic Technician Certificate in June 1998. During his enlistment as an Electronic Technician, he was awarded numerous medals, held a high level security clearance, and supervised junior personnel.
After his tour of duty, Chad went on to attend Northern Illinois University majoring in Accountancy. He graduated with honors, Cum Laude, from Northern Illinois University in 2005 earning his Bachelor of Science degree in Accountancy. It is notable to mention that Northern Illinois University's Accountancy program was ranked in the top 10 nationally while Chad attended school there.
He is a member of the American Legion, the VFW, the Knights of Columbus, the Golden Key International Honor Society, and was formerly on the Board of Directors for the United Way of Lee County.
Chad joined Nicklaus Financial Service in 2003 and became a partner in 2007. He is a LPL Financial Planner and is a licensed life and health insurance representative. He is also recognized as an Enrolled Agent by the Department of the Treasury and Internal Revenue Service.
